
Erica Daniels, Ph.D.
Bio
Dr. Erica Daniels is an assistant professor in the School of Psychology and Counseling and the school counseling track coordinator at Regent University. She is a licensed professional school counselor in Virginia and a nationally certified counselor.
Daniels holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of William and Mary, a master’s degree in professional school counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and a Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. She is also a graduate of Regent University, where she earned a doctorate in counselor education and supervision.
Before joining Regent, Daniels taught in the graduate counseling program at Evangel University. She previously spent 15 years as a school counselor in various locations, leading, advocating and building comprehensive school counseling programs.
She is passionate about school counseling supervision and leadership, student mental health, school counselor identity development and self-care. Daniels has conducted research and presented nationally and locally on these topics. She is also an active member of several professional organizations.
