Regent University Declared the Gold Standard by Military Friendly® Schools for 2025-26

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (Apr. 10, 2025) – Military Friendly® Schools awarded Regent University with an overall Gold Standard—and its high marks in the “Private Offering Doctorate” category landed Regent in the nation’s Top 10 for Military Spouse Friendly School for the academic year 2025–26.

“Regent has cultivated a welcoming learning environment that values the contributions of its veterans, service members, active duty, and their loved ones,” said John Cordero, Director of Military Affairs at Regent. “We are committed to providing academic flexibility, career counseling, and the spiritual support needed to advance a military career or foster a successful transition to civilian life and professional success.”

Military Friendly® is an organization that is committed to creating better outcomes for military-affiliated students by providing positive reinforcement for American organizations that invest in programs that improve their lives. Each award category was determined by the assessment of both public data about the university and proprietary data gathered through Military Friendly® Schools surveys.

Over 1,800 schools participated in this year’s survey, while only 781 earned a ranking. Awards were earned for providing leading practices, outcomes, and effective programs for military-affiliated students.
