Students at an orientation event at Regent University Virginia Beach.

Orientation

We are so excited for you to start your journey at Regent University! Our goal is to help you connect with the people, information and resources that will help you excel academically, develop spiritually, thrive socially, advance professionally, and ultimately change the world for Christ.

Choose the Regent orientation experience best for you:

Students who participate in an orientation generally find they acclimate better, have a greater sense of connection to their professors and peers, better attend to their responsibilities as a student, and more readily embrace the transformative experience ahead of them.

Explore the links below to discover orientation event options designed with you in mind. Access everything else you need to know—from videos and flyers to schedules, forms and handbooks. The orientation programs for freshmen, transfers and international students are hosted by Student Engagement, and the programs for online and graduate students are hosted by the Center for Student Happiness.

New traditional-aged freshmen (23 and younger) are required to participate in this mandatory August event. This 3-day event takes place directly after Move-In.
