Match Your Gifts

Matching Gifts are an excellent way to increase the value of your donations at no additional cost. Participating companies will often double or even triple the employee’s gift. Find out if your company is a participating matching gift provider.

Stock Gifts

Gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds or other securities can provide more significant tax benefits than an equivalent gift of cash, especially if you’ve held the appreciated assets for more than a year. For more information or to make a gift of stock or other appreciated securities, contact Regent University Advancement at 800.335.4409 or ruadvancement@regent.edu.

You can help make a student’s dream a reality. Scholarships provide students with the critical financial support they need to receive a Christian education. Learn how you can help us educate tomorrow’s Christian leaders.

Regent’s Annual Fund enables the university to attract the best faculty, avoid large tuition increases and add vital campus resources. The faithful gifts of our alumni and friends make a tremendous difference in the lives of our students. Please join us in supporting our students by making your gift to Regent University’s Annual Fund today.

Planned Gifts

Planned giving is a great way to support Regent University while generating income for yourself and your family. Regent has a certified financial consultant ready to assist you with a wide variety of estate-planning vehicles, including bequests, trusts, and gift annuities.

Qualified Charitable Distributions

If you are at least 70 ½ years old, you may also give through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from an IRA plan.

  • You can give up to $108,000 annually as a QCD (this amount is indexed for inflation).
  • This gift will be excluded from your federal income, and if you have a required minimum distribution, it will count there too.
  • If you are not yet 70½ but are at least 59½, you can make a taxable distribution from your plan to make a deductible gift. Even though this distribution is taxable, it may help you save on taxes by reducing the value of your account and the amount of taxable required minimum distributions in the future. Note: This is a complex tax strategy that requires careful planning and consideration of your individual circumstances.

Your tax and financial advisors can help you confirm which of these options are best for you. Contact Regent University Advancement at 800.335.4409 or plannedgiving@regent.edu.

Corporate and Foundation Gifts

Based on your organization’s mission and interests, we work with University faculty and leadership to identify partnership opportunities that enrich the student experience while helping your organization achieve their philanthropic goals. Additionally, our Corporate Partners program is a great way to enhance your employees’ performance and success in the workplace by providing career advancement skills and valuable training opportunities.
