Match Your Gifts
Matching Gifts are an excellent way to increase the value of your donations at no additional cost. Participating companies will often double or even triple the employee’s gift. Find out if your company is a participating matching gift provider.
Stock Gifts
Gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds or other securities can provide more significant tax benefits than an equivalent gift of cash, especially if you’ve held the appreciated assets for more than a year. For more information or to make a gift of stock or other appreciated securities, contact Regent University Advancement at 800.335.4409 or ruadvancement@regent.edu.

Planned giving is a great way to support Regent University while generating income for yourself and your family. Regent has a certified financial consultant ready to assist you with a wide variety of estate-planning vehicles, including bequests, trusts, and gift annuities.
If you are at least 70 ½ years old, you may also give through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from an IRA plan.
You can give up to $108,000 annually as a QCD (this amount is indexed for inflation).
This gift will be excluded from your federal income, and if you have a required minimum distribution, it will count there too.
If you are not yet 70½ but are at least 59½, you can make a taxable distribution from your plan to make a deductible gift. Even though this distribution is taxable, it may help you save on taxes by reducing the value of your account and the amount of taxable required minimum distributions in the future. Note: This is a complex tax strategy that requires careful planning and consideration of your individual circumstances.
Your tax and financial advisors can help you confirm which of these options are best for you. Contact Regent University Advancement at 800.335.4409 or plannedgiving@regent.edu.

Our Team
The Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement exists to celebrate and share the heart and vision of Regent University with our alumni, donors, and friends. We are deeply grateful for the generosity of those who invest in Regent’s mission, and we work to cultivate relationships that honor their partnership. Together with our alumni and supporters, we advance the University’s calling to equip Christian leaders to change the world.
Scripture tells us in Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Members of the Regent Court of Benefactors have chosen to place their treasure in the form of their time, talents, and treasure with Regent University. As co-laborers who share our heart for equipping Christian leaders to change the world, these individuals and organizations play an active role in shaping both the history and future of Regent University.
